Melbourne Fashion Week Student Showcase | Kangan Institute

Four Kangan Institute fashion students have been selected to showcase their designs at the upcoming Melbourne Fashion Week, joining an impressive line-up of leading and emerging fashion designers from Victoria and beyond.

The students will be part of Town Hall Runway Four – Student Collections, a dedicated show for crème de la crème fashion students from local TAFEs, universities and training providers.

Currently completing the Advanced Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising (MST60116) at Kangan Institute, participating students include:

  • James Hall of Seddon
  • Chi Cao of Hoppers Crossing
  • Neriman Georges of Dingley Village
  • Neil Harvey of Kyneton

Kangan Institute’s CEO Trevor Schwenke explained this opportunity will help students gain vital experience for their careers.

“I’d like to congratulate our talented fashion students who were selected for this year’s Melbourne Fashion Week Student Collections,” said Mr. Schwenke.

“We strongly encourage and support our students to participate in events like Melbourne Fashion Week.

“It’s a great opportunity to apply their skills, connect with some of the biggest names in fashion and gain invaluable experience to further their future careers.”
