Protected Industrial Action – stop work action

The Australian Education Union (AEU) is undertaking Protected Industrial Action as part of state-wide bargaining for a new industrial agreement for TAFE teachers.

The AEU has planned stop work action at Broadmeadows Campus on Tuesday 29 October 2024 from 7.45am - 12.00pm.

We are doing everything we can to support students and reduce the impact on learning for our students.

We will provide direct communications to student and stakeholders on any impacts or alternative measures we are putting in place to minimise disruptions.

Kangan Institute recognises the right of AEU members to choose whether to participate in protected industrial action and respects the right of all staff to express their voice. Protected industrial action is only available to teaching staff that are AEU members.

For enquiries please phone 13 TAFE.
