For Linda Deeb, baking had always been a passion. Studying the Certificate III in Baking (FBP30521) at Kangan Institute gave her the practical skills and confidence to start turning that passion into a career.
As a mum of three, Linda needed study that could fit around family life. Kangan Institute's convenient location, supportive trainers and hands-on approach helped her balance her responsibilities while developing the professional baking skills she needed to take her next step.
Today, Linda has launched her own home-based baking business, LuxeBakehouse.Co, creating custom baked goods for customers while working towards her long-term dream of opening her own café.

Linda says the practical learning environment and support from her trainers were an important part of her experience.
"The teachers were there for everything I asked about. I learned to be patient and take my time when working with dough and pastry."
