Course Overview

If you love taking charge, being a Leader and getting things done, our Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB60420) will provide you with a strategic leadership and management skill set to help you take your organisation and career to the next level.

A leadership and management role offers you the opportunity to really make a difference. It requires a set of crucial and integral skills, all of which we will teach you.

This includes:

With the strategic soft skills in the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management you will be ready to take your organisation to new highs in this ever changing world, the skills can be applied in any range of business context.

The part-time Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management option is suited to people with two years’ industry experience who are looking to further develop their strategic leadership skills. This option will see you undertake the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management via on-line workshops in the evenings.

As a large educational provider, our students have access to a myriad of student support services and resources such as the Library and Learning Centre and our very own Employment Centre to ensure that your study experience is a positive one.

Our course delivery features remote (online) learning. This flexibility allows our students to continue to study in a safe, guided and supported manner.

You will be assessed to show that you have achieved the skills and knowledge required by the course. Assessment may include written, oral or practical assessment methods.

Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:

Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).

or

Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

The course caters to those who have completed previous qualifications in leadership and management or have relevant work experience in a leadership and management role.

The Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB60420) is the recognised qualification to pursue senior roles such as an Executive Manager.

How will I be selected for this course?

All applicants will need to meet the prerequisites to enter this course, e.g. you must have Diploma qualifications in Leadership and Management, Human Resources, a Management qualification or similar and/or relevant vocational experience.  

Provided that you have the relevant industry experience (2 years) you can enter the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB60420) part time program.

All applicants for this course will also complete an assessment to evaluate their language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills. This helps to ensure that you enrol in a course that is the right level of study for you.
