Kangan Institute, in partnership with L’Oréal Australia, is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 L’Oréal Beauty for All Scholarships - a transformative initiative designed to support aspiring beauty professionals facing challenging personal circumstances.
The Beauty for All program reflects a shared commitment to equity, access and opportunity within the beauty industry. Through this scholarship, selected recipients will receive full tuition support to undertake the Diploma of Beauty Therapy (SHB50121) at Kangan Institute, creating a direct pathway into one of Australia’s most dynamic and growing sectors.
Beauty is more than a creative pursuit — it is an avenue for purpose, self-expression and empowerment. Through this program, L’Oréal Australia and Kangan Institute are investing in individuals who demonstrate resilience, passion and the determination to succeed.
As Marnie Carroll, Corporate Affairs & Engagement Director, L’Oréal Groupe, Australia, explains:
“Through the Global Beauty for All program, L’Oréal Groupe is investing in the future of the beauty industry by supporting talented young individuals from vulnerable backgrounds. In Australia, we’ve witnessed first-hand the transformative impact of these scholarships, empowering our scholars to achieve their full potential. We remain dedicated to fostering a more inclusive and equitable beauty landscape.”
Since its introduction, the scholarship has helped aspiring beauty professionals transform ambition into achievement. Past recipients have balanced work commitments, overcome financial barriers and navigated personal challenges — all while remaining steadfast in their pursuit of a career in beauty.
2025 scholar Melissa Bailey shared:
“Balancing two jobs, the costs of education, and regional transportation challenges hasn’t deterred my pursuit of a beauty therapy career. I’m passionate about the positive impact beauty services can have on confidence and well-being, and I’m excited to explore the many opportunities this industry offers.”
Her story reflects the spirit of the Beauty for All program — individuals who see beauty not simply as a profession, but as a platform to build confidence, connection and meaningful impact.
Delivered through Kangan Institute’s industry-aligned training environment, the Diploma of Beauty Therapy equips students with advanced practical skills and professional standards aligned to contemporary industry expectations. The partnership with L’Oréal Australia ensures scholars are supported by both education and industry leadership — a powerful combination that bridges study and career.
