Investing in people, strengthening communities
Our current Australia Awards (AusAid) scholars at Kangan Institute are studying the Diploma of Community Services (CHC52025), a nationally recognised qualification that prepares graduates for meaningful roles supporting individuals, families and communities.
The course focuses on hands‑on, applied learning, equipping students with practical skills in communication, advocacy, case coordination and ethical practice. Students also gain a strong understanding of Australia’s community and social support systems, with learning delivered by industry‑experienced teachers and aligned to real‑world scenarios.
For Australia Awards scholars, the Diploma of Community Services provides a strong foundation to develop workforce‑ready skills that can be taken back to their home countries, supporting long‑term community development, social wellbeing and inclusive outcomes.
Australia Awards scholars are required to return to their home countries after completing their studies, supporting long-term development outcomes and strengthening global health and community systems.
Through practical, workforce-ready training, Kangan Institute is proud to contribute to this global development mission.
