Learning. Listening. Walking together.
National Reconciliation Week is a time for all of us to reflect, learn and take meaningful action towards reconciliation.
At Kangan Institute, Reconciliation Week is about creating space for conversation, deepening understanding, and strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and communities.
Our commitment to reconciliation
Reconciliation at Kangan Institute is guided by our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) 2024–2026, which sets out clear, practical actions to build stronger relationships, deepen respect, create opportunities and embed reconciliation across teaching, learning and leadership.
Our RAP supports:
- Stronger partnerships with First Nations communities
- Improved cultural capability across our workforce
- More inclusive learning environments for students
- Pathways that support First Nations participation, employment and success
Reconciliation is not a moment. It’s ongoing work, embedded in how we learn, lead and grow.
